Origination Product Specification

Names first

A reference is what somebody reads out on the telephone. It is not how a person thinks about a deal. Every Deal, Mandate and Match therefore leads with a human name, and its reference stays visible as secondary metadata.

Deal

1. A title somebody wrote. "Untitled" is never a title.
2. A portfolio: "Place Use Portfolio". The place is one named by at least two asset addresses, and by more of them than any rival place. The use comes from the canonical asset type hierarchy: Residential, Commercial, Mixed-Use or Development.
3. One asset: its address.
4. "Asset Type in Place or District".
5. The reference.

Mandate

The form is "Holder - Places Acquisition Mandate". The holder is the name given at registration. If none was given, it falls back to the profile name, then to the organisation. The places are the areas the holder picked on the map.

Match

"Deal → Mandate", with the references and Fit, Coverage and Confidence beneath it.

Status is structured

• Row status is a tag: words, a mark and a colour. The colour never carries meaning alone.
• An issue has a severity, a Title Case title and a sentence explaining it. "Criteria Changed After Confirmation", then "Version 1 of the Buy Box criteria was confirmed. The criteria are now version 2, which nobody has confirmed."
• Red is reserved for something that failed, such as an acknowledgement that did not send. Amber means something needs review. Green is a genuinely positive state.

Actions

The app surfaces lifecycle actions:

• Confirm Buy Box
• Activate Mandate
• Resolve Criterion and Retire Buy Box
• Publish Version
• Retry Acknowledgement
• Submission decisions, notes, documents and introductions

Each action blocks a second press while it is pending. A success re-reads the object. A refusal is written beside the control in the server's own words.

One deal, one room

The internal Deal Workspace is the master Deal Room. The external Deal Room is an authorised projection of the same room, not a separately designed Deal representation.

Edit mode and live visibility

Edit shows each content atom's live state as a bar at its edge, and offers its controls on hover or focus, always on a touch screen. An atom is a brief field, an asset, a portfolio figure, a room entry or a document. Its state is one of Shown in Live Room, Internal Only or Hidden From Live Room.

An edit keeps the previous record. Removal takes an entry out of the room while preserving the record. A new field starts internal until deliberately shown.

Visibility changes state their consequence first. A recipient may already have read what was there; a change applies from that moment.

Preview

Preview Live Room renders what a recipient would see. The choices are an anonymised recipient, an identifying recipient, or one existing recipient. A preview records no open, mints no token, grants nothing and sends nothing.
